Professionals who understand industry dynamics and who can see the big picture would find more takers.
J2EE and .NET are evergreen because they use an intermediate layer (JVM and CLR respectively) that keeps getting optimized for new hardware without the software having to be rewritten. Umesh Wason has rightly pointed out the need for greater technical experience, GUI development skills and for development of hand-held device apps.
